70 – ANNIVERSARY OF PROFESSOR KYDYRBAY AMANZHOLOV

On February 21, 2018, a solemn extended meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Kazakh Research Institute of animal husbandry and forage production, devoted to the 70-th anniversary of the Chief scientific officer of the Institute, Academician KazAAS, Doctor of Agricultural science, Professor, famous composer Kydyrbai  Amanzholov. 

The meeting was opened by acting the General Director of the Kazakh Research Institute of animal husbandry and forage production, laureate of the State Prize, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Abdirakhman Ombaev. He handed over to the hero of occasion a certificate of honor from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan for his contribution to the development of the national agricultural science and read out greeting message from the National Agricultural Research and Education Center.

Director of the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Zoology, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Academician Alikhan Meldebekov, Vice-Rector on Scientific Work and Integration of the Kazakh National Agrarian University, Professor Esenbai Islamov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Galiola Meirman, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, deputy director of the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture Asan Ospanov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Academician of the KazAAS Toktar Bekseitov and others took part in the event.

Accepting congratulations in honor of his 70-th anniversary from numerous colleagues and friends, Kydyrbai Amanzholov with excitement took dombra and performed the song of his compositions “Eles”.

Kydyrbai Amanzholov was born on February 21, 1948 in Baltakol village in Otyrar district of the South Kazakhstan region. He devoted more than 50 years of research and processing technology to livestock, the author of more than 370 scientific works, more than 200 kuy (composition for dombra), more than 300 songs for the last few years, joined to “Altyn Khor” of Kazakh radio.
