Dual Education for KazNAIU Students Organized at the K.U. Medeubekov Sheep Breeding Research Institute

A dual education program was organized for fourth-year students of the BT-21-04K group from the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNAIU) at the Department of Sheep Breeding, located at the branch of the K.U. Medeubekov Sheep Breeding Research Institute, part of KazNIIZhIK LLP. The training was conducted within the framework of the “Applied Ecobiotechnology” discipline.

As part of the program, Dr. of Agricultural Sciences Nurlan Iklasovich Malmakov delivered a lecture on “Reproduction and Biotechnology in Agricultural Livestock,” highlighting modern approaches and advances in reproductive technologies.

The practical component included hands-on training in the embryology laboratory, where MSc Aigul Ibragimovna Sembaева conducted a session on “In vitro Oocyte Collection and Fertilization.” Additionally, in the wool laboratory, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Elmira Bekbauovna Asylbekova led a practical session on “Physical and Mechanical Properties of Small Ruminant Wool.” This dual education program provided students with a valuable opportunity to deepen their theoretical knowledge and enhance their practical skills.
