KAZAKH SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND FORAGE PRODUCTION
Is the main scientific-methodological and coordinating center of the country on forming and providing research works, introduction of scientific developments and innovative technologies in livestock, poultry and forage production. Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Forage Production is a successor of Institute of Animal Husbandry which was established in 1933 and Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Meadow and Pasture Farming which was organized in 1969.

INSTITUTE ACTIVITIES:

• scientific support for the development of livestock industries in Kazakhstan with the use of modern methods of creating competitive breeds, types and lines of cattle, poultry and fodder crops, as well as innovative technologies in livestock and forage production;
• coordination of research activities carried out by 29 state research institutions and stations co-executing breeding technology in livestock, poultry and forages;
• scientific, methodological and practical assistance to regional research organizations and agricultural units involved in breeding and reproduction of farm animals and poultry, cultivation and harvesting of forage crops.
