DISCUSSION ON THE MESSAGE OF PRESIDENT N.NAZARBAYEV

January 17, 2018 in the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Forage Production  held meeting dedicated to discussing the President’s Address to the people of the Republic of Kazakhstan of January 10, 2018 “New Development Opportunities in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution”.

The meeting was attended by scientists of the KazNIIZhIK and agricultural specialists. Acting Director General, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the NAS of the RK Abdirahman Ombaev explained in details, all of the 10 items of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the people of Kazakhstan, focusing on the tasks assigned to agrarian science. 

Among the speakers were Amanzholov K.Zh. – doctor of agricultural sciences, Tadzhiev K.P. – candidate of agricultural sciences, Tamarovsky M.V. – doctor of agricultural sciences, Turabaev A.T. – candidate of agricultural sciences, who made reports and presentations on the development trends of the agricultural sector.

The third point in the message of President N.Nazarbayev “Smart Technologies” – a chance for a breakthrough in the development of the agro-industrial complex – aroused great interest among scientists. “This part refers to the need “to ensure the processing of raw materials and access to world markets with high-quality products”. Scientists KazNIIZhIK noted and perceived as good news, where it is said that “the priority development requires agrarian science”.

Agriculture, of course, is the main agro-industrial complex. The main task in the livestock sector is to create conditions for the production of quality products. Our agricultural products must meet international standards. “The President drew particular attention to the importance of developing the agro-industrial complex on the basis of new technologies and innovations, which imposes special tasks on the whole system of agricultural production” – underlined A. Ombayev.

In the President’s Address, specific steps are proposed for the development of the agricultural sector in the conditions of economic modernization, which are clearly thought out, and make every Kazakhstanian to think. The staff of KazNIIZhIK fully supports the policy of the Head of State and will take an active part in the implementation of the outlined tasks.
